Our crew spent the last 6 weeks building this beautiful ADU (accessory dwelling unit) off of the back of a house in SE Albany for some wonderful clients needing some additional space for a family member. Using custom knotty alder cabinets, Brazilian granite with leathered finish, and a 6-pack bank of windows overlooking the lake we tailored this space to the high-end aesthetic our clients wanted. This addition included a spacious custom kitchen with island/dining table, under cabinet lighting and a dining room, bedroom and fully contained bathroom/laundry room. We also used PVC Weathered Wood floor to add a rustic look while waterproofing the floor. Thanks to Alpha Associates for their professional electrical work, they are always a pleasure to work with.
Here are some progress shots of our work:
Homeowner here, We wanted a really nice place for Grandpa to live and boy did Combat Construction come through. There were a lot of challenges with the engineering on this project but Jesse and crew never missed a beat. They overcame issues with creative and quality decisions. We faced major delays getting our plans approved by the city (again poor engineering that I brought to this project, not Combat Construction) and to make up time Combat Construction worked nearly every Saturday on this project and even New Year’s Day. They always put in a full hard day, each and every one of them. Through rain, hail, sleet, and snow the project moved quickly.
We are recommending Combat Construction to our own family for a home they want built in Salem. In my family you have to earn that kind of recommendation and they have. Thank you Jesse, Travis, Marty, Tom, and Pat. It was great to get to know you a little during the project and we wish you all the success you’ll surely achieve with this kind of quality work. -The Graters
